Take
U.S 2 east past Stevens Pass and turn left onto Smith Brook Road (Forest Road 6700).
Drive about two miles to the trailhead on your left.

144, Benchmark Mountain is a good choice.

Trail #1590 and Pacific Crest Trail #2000.
Permit: Northwest
