Rod and Chris are a bi-national couple. One would be able to sponsor the other to
immigrate to this country if they were able to legally marry each other. Sadly, they

the Hawaiian Courts that could make that state the first to legalize same-sex marriage.
Partners Task Force has been in existence since 1986. Former publishers of Partners
Newsletter for Gay & Lesbian Couples, Stevie Bryant and Demian have been among the
earliest to fight for the rights of lesbian/gay couples. They have recently added
information discussing the actual dollar costs of the failure to extend legal marriage to
