Do you build your own or hack and maim manufactured boxes? If so I'm sure you've run up against certain hardware that just will not play nice with other hardware or only works with certain operating systems, etc. This is a place to exchange such information, generally how to get things to work.

Sun originally invented Sparc and is still the primary supplier SPARC based systems. However, these days, SPARC is mostly reserved for Suns high end equipment, most work stations By Sun use a PCI bus and Intel chip now.
