Back when MTV first started they actually used the bulk of the air time to play music videos. At that time, the market for music videos was new, and so early on MTV carried a lot of new and interesting artists initially. Now I'm finding a lot of those old videos are surfacing on the Internet on public video hosting sites. So I thought, why not create a shared forum and post those that we enjoy.
