I'm not a big fan of string theories, for two reasons really. One, I don't have the necessary background in higher math. Two, in thirty years they've kept a lot of people employed but have yet to produce a useful prediction. In the words of the late Richard Feynman, "Not even wrong."
This video attempts to illustrate a ten-dimensional string theory in a way that it can be imagined. What I read into this interpretation is this; anything that can exist does. This is a conclusion I came to about the universe before string theories came into vogue. I didn't need complicated math to arrive at this conclusion, just a few decades of observation.
