There is so much strangeness surrounding images taken on the Apollo mission. Here; part of the image is blurred, why? What would we see on that hill if they hadn't blurred that portion of the image?

Now here is another strangeness in a photo from Apollo 16. Look at the rock in the lower left of this image. Notice that it's edges are all rounded. Now here on Earth, weathering rounds the rocks, water or wind carried sand and dust abrade the edges until they are smooth. On Mars, even with it's tremendous dust storms, most of the rocks edges are sharp and jagged, on Venus rocks also visible in the Russian photos are jagged. So how is it on the Moon, with neither water nor wind, we have these smooth rocks?

The lunar regolith in this photograph from Apollo 14 seems to have a decidedly different texture than in the photographs from Apollo 15 and 16. I'm curious what would account for the differences. In the Apollo 15 and 16 photographs, it seems like the regolith mostly consists of a fine powder with rocks that are say about 6-8 inches across on average here and there. In this photo, the "powder" seems much coarser, the larger rocks present in the other photographs seem to be missing.

I'm also curious about the rolling hills present in all of these photographs. Craters I can understand, rims, I can understand, but what causes these random rolling hills in the absence of plate tectonics?

What is all the stuff near us in this photo? It doesn't look like rocks but I can't make it out. One thing that is kind of rock shaped, has about five regularly spaced ridges, looks either life-like or artificial somehow.

From Apollo 12.. What is that white semi-circular thing that looks like a discarded toilet seat? I can't help but wonder if there is a trailer park behind the camera.
