I've been dreading coming in here (after being gone so long I forgot my password), but after seeing "What is the Unix shell?", I felt slightly less dread-ful (as opposed to 'dreadful').....

If I sit down and figure all of this out myself, either my kids will die of neglect or I will keel over from mental fatigue. It pains me to ask, but --

Is there any quick, relatively painless way (in the script universe) that I can specify names from my virtual domain that are valid? As it's set up now, anything anyone makes up can get through, and someone has decided to do just than and use my domain as a spam-helper. I would like to be able to disable this, and set things up so that I can specify WHICH e-mail addresses are valid.

If this is an irritating question, please just ignore me....
Thanks in any case --

Tara

There is not anyway, at present, to do it from the shell, but if you make a request to support@eskimo.com they can allow through those names you wish and block the rest.
