Search was broken. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

When I originally upgraded to phpBB3, I tested the search function and it worked. But somewhere along the lines, one of the updates broken the native search function. I upgraded from phpBB3RC4
to phpBBRC7 (the most recent), and still it's broken.

So I switched the search back end from the native search back end to MySQL. Not only did it fix the problem but it screams in terms of relative speed.
