I'm using a newly-reinstalled Windows 2000 in a Sager Notebook. There are two problems with folders:
1: Opening Windows Explorer, right clicking "Explore" on a folder, or pressing the Folders tab inside a folder shows the folder contents but not the left panel with the other folders and drives. I have no idea how to change that.
2. I can set View Settings for all folders and then set a different View Setting for one or more individual folders, but the individual setting is not remembered even though I have the "Remember..." box checked in Folder Options>View.
I hope someone can help. My books and incompetent web searches not successful
