It is with a great deal of regret that I have to make this
announcement. Jeannie will be leaving Eskimo North shortly. Her last day
          of work is August 14th.

In her time here she has helped countless customers setup their PC's
and Mac's, maintained some degree of sanity on NewNet, an IRC network
founded here, and given our web site a badly needed face lift.

Joel Boring, her boyfriend, accepted a position that will involve
relocating out of state and she will be leaving with.

I hope that things work out for her where she goes.

This will create an opening here for a part time position working
Saturdays and Sundays 3PM-11PM with occasional opportunities for
additional time when other employees take vacations, etc.

The primary responsibility will be handing customer support lines
helping customers setup primarily PC's and MacIntosh's. This is a job
where a positive attitude, a great deal of patience, and a sincere
interest in the subject are important prerequisites.

The potential for this becoming a full time position; or the
potential for a second part time position also exists if really good
webmastering and linguistic skills are present.

Webmaster's must be able to write portable web pages that will work
for all browser types. Additionally, someone who is fluent in some Asian
languages and familiar with the encoding schemes such as Big-5 and JIS,
involved and capable of translating web pages to these other languages and
interfacing with customers in those languages would be a huge plus.
