408 Area Code...
Those of you who are dialing in to access numbers to/from the 408 area
code will need to dial 10 digits after October 1, 1999.
The numbers remain the same, the local calling area remains the same, but
due to an overlay of a new area code, 10-digit dialing will be required there
even for local calls. Be sure to change the number in your dial-up networking
to dial all ten digits.
