After telling is that the old seattle 56k number 206-812-1399 would NOT be
disconnected in the forseeable future, MegaPOP today notified me that it would
          be disconnected soon.

Since a sizable portion of our Seattle based analog dial-up customers
still get lower speed connections, or are experiencing cut-off's with the new
206-299-0155 number, and since I've yet to have one of our ISDN customers in
Seattle successfully to the new 206-299-0155 number I am more than a little
          concerned.

I am writing this letter to both my customers and to MegaPOP staff to try
          to address these concerns.

               Customers:

I need those of you who are presently using 206-812-1399 to switch to
206-299-0155. If you have a static IP in seattle using 206-812-1399 please
contact us so we can get a static IP assigned in the 206-299-0155. If you are
unable to connect or get poor connect rates, you need to let us know right
          away.

               Customers and Megapop:

If this turns out to be another fiasco like the problems we experienced
with Total Access box they installed, we will find an alternate method of
providing 56k in Seattle rather than allowing service problems to drag on for
          months.
