==> Western Washington 56K and ISDN Dial Access Customers <==

In the interest of providing you with the best service possible and in
order to avoid busy signals it is essential that you use the CURRENT 56k and
ISDN access numbers in Western Washington. Use the number which is closest to
you for better performance. This is true even if the number you are presently
          using is a local call.

          		Auburn 253-793-0155
          		Battle Ground 360-342-3200
          		Bellevue 425-484-0155
          		Camas 360-334-3200
          		Everett 425-791-0199
          		Graham 253-559-0155
          		Issaquah 425-642-0155
          		Kent 253-270-0155
          		Maple Valley 425-660-0155
          		Puyallup 253-799-0155
          		Renton 425-663-0155
          		Roy 253-645-0155
          	*New*	Seattle 206-299-0155
          		Sumner 253-648-0155
          	*New*	Tacoma 253-650-0155
          		Vancouver 360-314-2119

The "*New*" is meant to denote that this is a number replacing an old
access number for these locations. Most of these numbers are in fact new.

Some of these prefixes are new and we have run into instances of the
telephone companies not yet having proper programming in their switches to
process calls. If you encounter a recording that says your call can not be
completed as dialed, please inform us and include the number you are calling
from as well as the called number.

The new numbers do NOT support K-56flex protocol. Only V.90 56k protocol
is supported. Therefore, if you have an old 56k modem that was manufacturered
prior to the ratification of the V.90 protocol you will need to obtain and
install a firmware upgrade or in the case of HSP or Winmodems, a driver
upgrade. Usually this consists of downloading an executable file from the
modem manufacturers website and running it.

If you have a K-56flex modem and you do not upgrade to V.90, then you will
see the connect speed reduce to a v.34 connect speed (something less than or
          equal to 33.6kb/s).

If you are in one of the communities surrounding Seattle and Tacoma and
one of the new telephone numbers is closer to you than Seattle or Tacoma,
please use that number. This eliminates or minimizes the use of interoffice
trunking, reducing the likelihood of noise or transmission problems or blockage
          due to inadequate trunking.
