New File Server
I have the new file server up and running and started moving users
directories to it last night. I thought it was operating properly but then
I received complaints of people not being able to login early this morning.
An incompatibility between Linux and SunOS's NFS implimentation was
causing some strange failure that made logins fail.
After applying a number of patches, I've finally got it fixed. Sorry
for the difficulties, but in the long term this will provide faster and more
stable service.
