We've learned tonight that the current setup for '@usb.com' entries is also
not subject to the ISDN/Dual time limit, even when connecting to the
MegaPOP lines that you are currently using. This can make for a solution a
bit faster than waiting for the Ikano deal to finalize, but would still
result in a different username/password pair for the dialup connection.
Those still using the straight '@isdn' tag on the dialup username will get
a different username/password shortly for the '@usb.com' method that would
allow dual channel connects even on the MegaPOP lines. Customers who were
already converted to single channel connections because of this limit would
also need a new pair (the '@usb.com' entries we moved people to previously
were setup as single-channel only).
This doesn't solve the problem for those with static IPs as yet (which
would still need to wait for the Ikano setups to complete, or statics on
the '@usb.com' entries, which is also in the works), but the majority of
ISDN/Dual connects will be able to get switched over right away and not
lose their dual-channel connectivity.
