Eskimo email via Android smartphone

Postby jimo » Tue May 03, 2016 2:00 am

I've been using fetchmail to download email via POP3 to my computer at home, and now that I've got a smartphone, I want to be able to send and receive email from/to that device. How are people doing this? Do I need to change from POP3 to IMAP?

I use mutt in an xterm on my computer and when I'm shelled into Eskimo, but a smartphone "keyboard" is a whole different animal from this laptop I'm typing on now, and a native Android app probably would do a better job of composing an email than an xterm emulator, but what app?

Can't help you regarding the apps as I'm not familiar specifically with android, however, imap is the better way to go because pop3 will only give you access to your INBOX and not spam or other folders you might occasionally want to access.
As for settings see:

Imap is one of the better method for changing the file or document from pop3 to imap version. through this way easy to access the required file or document. For more informations please search google. Anyway thanks a lot for sharing this post.
