Many of the sites here are drawings by Japanese artists that resemble Anime and Manga characters. In some cases they are Anime or Manga characters. In part that stems from the fact that the way I found many of these sites was by following links from Anime sites. It seems to be fairly common for many of the creators of the graphics web site to celebrate various hits milestones with special graphics.
