Some downtime around 10pm on Janauary 8th for eskinews was the result of
trying to boot a new Linux kernel that was incompatible with the existing mount
program.
I have been anxious to try a newer version because 2.0.30 would not work
with four CPUs, and 2.0.31/32 were non-functional on that machine.
We now have it running on 2.0.33 and will be bringing it down around
midnight to try to install the second CPU module to see if it will work with
all four CPUs now.
I apologize for the interruption but with current load this machine really
needs all four CPU's so I am very anxious to get this working.
