New IOS image
EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE ANNOUNCEMENT Purpose for maintenance: Network fix Maintenance date: 01/12/98 Maintenance start time: 00:00est Estimated end time: Details of maintenance: At approximately midnight on 1/11/98 a new revision of the IOS for the backbone routers will be loaded. This new load will provide a fix for bugs that are known to exist in the current code which are affecting the routers ability to provide consistent service to our customers. Impact to customers: Each city will be reloaded and customers can expect about 20 minutes of instability in the network as the routing table stabalizes.
