One of the spool drives that is only three months old has gotten very ill,
it's unfortunately a Western Digital, the only brand that up to this point has
not failed on us.
We've got another drive on order but no spare on hand. The replacement
should get here in 1-2 days. We are going to try reformatting the existing
drive on the chance that low-level formatting information got damaged but it's
probably not going to help in which case we'll bring it up on a one-drive spool
for one or two days until the other arrives.
But it's going to be down for at least a few hours while the drive is
reformatted and the existing spool will be lost.
