One of the drives on Eskinews got very ill, to the point where the machine
would not run for 1/2 hour without freezing. A replacement drive is on order,
but we did format the drive and it is running again but with 700+ defects and
of course the format blew away the information so the news spool was lost.
We are waiting for the arrival of a replacement which should get here
today or tomorrow, and if this holds up we'll just copy the data to the new
drive, else it will be necessary to blitz the spool again.
