I guess it was more than a couple hours, eh? It took almost 4
hours for the media test on the 9 gig drive, and then another hour for the
fsck file system check during the booting of the machine.
At least there were no errors found on the disk, or in the
filesystem, so hopefully this was a transient error. We are getting sick
of RMA'ing disks. =-)
