At 7pm; I had to reboot both the Seattle1 and Seattle4 communication
servers because of out of buffer conditions.
This is normally caused by an intentional denial of service attack known
as a "UDP flood"; and is usually the result of someone angering someone else in
IRC. Civil behavior would largely eliminate this problem; please consider that
your actions in IRC may negatively impact other uninvolved users.
If you have any information with respect to who you think might be
responsible for UDP floods; please pass that information to me. Thank you.
