What I have done at this point since I still have not gotten any
meaningful response from AOL, is to let the mail through to one of our servers
from AOL.
This server is basically running full-tilt throwing the mailbomb which
consists of thousands of e-mails to bogus addresses, away; and delivering the
occasional bit of legitimate mail that does come in. Because it's 100% maxed
out, incoming mail from AOL won't be processed in anything resembling real-time
but at least it will be processed, and the other servers will handle mail from
the rest of the net normally.
