We took www/ftp down for about 45 minutes today to add memory. I opted to
do this right away rather than wait because the machine was running into swap;
no memory was available for caching, and it was beating eskimo to death with a
heavy load of NFS requests.
The added memory (now 384mb) should enable the machine to cache more web
pages reducing the NFS load on eskimo and keeping it out of swap should improve
both the web and ftp performance.
