NapNet, the backbone provider that the 56K dialups are served by,
is having ATM networking problems that are still not resolved. Here is
the latest announcement I have on the situation:
Problem: Seattle lag
Location: 009 - Seattle, WA
Time: 00:30 12/15/1998 CST
Status: ONGOING
NapNet is working on an issue involving their Seattle ATM and a high
amount of CRC errors. User end symptoms include slow response times,
difficulties pulling up websites, and simple lag.
Eta: None
