IP Connectivity 12/27/98 8:25-8:30pm
There was a denial of service attack at around 8:25pm in the form of a UDP
flood directed at us. Wherever it was originating from apparently did not have
enough capacity to totally exhaust our bandwidth or router CPU capacity but it
did increase latency somewhat for about five minutes. I called Sprint to have
them put a filter in upstream but by the time I got them on the phone it had
stopped.
