Eskimo Planned Maintenance Downtime
I ordered a second SCSI controller for Eskimo as a stop-gap measure to
deal with a disk I/O bottleneck until I can get the new file server put
together.
This should arrive today, if it does, I will be taking Eskimo down
around midnight to install it.
Because mail is dependent upon files on eskimo for .forward, .procmail,
and other mail processing, I will be halting mail processing also during that
time frame.
If there are no major disasters it shouldn't take longer than about
1/2 hour or so.
