EMERGENCY UPGARDE:
Chicago - Approx.Time: 4:00 CST
After a great deal of setbacks, configuartion and delivery issues, we are
relieved to finally have the new T-3 backbone for Chicago working as it
should. We are at this moment preparing to make the cutover at last, within
the next 45 minutes to an hour. The downtime should be very brief, lasting
approx. 5 to 10 minutes max.
Please refer to the MegaPOP NOC area labeled 'Current Status' (at
http://www.megapop.net/noc/status.shtml) for the most current information
as it happens. When the maintenance takes place, we will be
updating this page with a status report on how the work is proceeding.
We appreciate your patience as we perform this important piece of maintenance.
