It looked like the ethernet port got wedged for some reason. I
would not talk to the machine, nor could I get logged in at the console,
so I had to halt and reboot the machine. It came up clean, so the outage
was thankfully brief, but sorry about that. This outage only affected
those of you that are still using emulated SLIP/PPP instead of the real
PPP, which is now available on request for no extra charge. If you are
interested in converting to true PPP, please email support@eskimo.com.
