Telco Cutover

     Things didn't go entirely well last night.  US West has cut our telephone
service for the main 367-3837 v.34 modem hunt group from a 1AESS analog switch
into a 5ESS digital switch.  Unfortunately, some people are now getting a
recording telling them that the number has been changed to area code 425.  The
number has not been changed, this is just a snafu at the telco.  It seems to be
effecting people calling from the Sunset central office (in Ballard). 

     A work-around is to call the Bellevue 425-451-8876 access line, or the Des
Moines access line at 253-838-9513, or the Auburn number at (253) 939-5992, all
of which should be local to Ballard. 

     Because I'm still up (at almost 9am), I probably will not make it back in
by 3pm today.  I'm trying to make arrangements but it is possible there may not
be support coverage until this evening.  Your patience is appreciated.
