Mail crashed around 3:15 AM this morning. The crash was caused by a
memory error that was the target of a SCSI DMA transfer. If it repeats, I'll
try to chase down which SIMM is responsible and replace it but it has been my
experience that transient errors to occasionally occur on these machines, when
I say occasionally, it's normal to see one of these about once a year on any
given machine. Usually though, when the error involves CPU I/O rather than DMA
I/O, the system recovers rather than panic'ing and rebooting.
