56K / ISDN Seattle/Everett Problem - Hopefully Resolved - Again...
Things seemed to be running OK today until this evening, and then we
received some more calls of ring-no-answer, carrier drop after
authentication, and cut-offs. We also encountered re-order (fast-busy)
ourselves while testing.
I called this trouble in and the technician working the trouble
phoned me a bit later and informed me that they had changed some
configuration items, something about call class, loaded new modem code,
and rebooted the equipment. It seemed to be taking calls OK after that.
Again, please let me know if you experience any more problems with
the Seattle or Everett 56k, dual-56k, or ISDN service. The sooner we know
if something is acting up, the sooner we can involve the necessary people
to get it fixed, and the better the odds that they can catch whatever is
going wrong while it's happening. Intermittant problems like this can be
very difficult to troubleshoot.
Your patience in this matter is very much appreciated.
