I don't know what is going on this weekend, sunspots or what. After this
mornings fiasco being mail-bombed essentially (though it looked to be a
malfunction at neopath.com rather than a deliberate attack), now this
afternoon, eskimo barfed with a memory error. I didn't get to bed until about
7am, got up at 10:30 to deal with the mail problem, so I had gone back to bed.
Our new weekend person here doesn't know what to watch for yet, and was
unaware that when Eskimo came up, www did not recover from the NFS timeouts and
so it was down for a while until I got up again and saw it was ill.
This really isn't my idea of fun folks, I really apologize for all the
interruptions, hopefully we've gotten past our quota of machine hell for a
while.
