About 8:30pm on Sept 4, tia1 crashed with an out of buffers condition.
This machine is generally very stable, but owing the I/O intensive nature of
the application (slirp/tia SLIP or PPP emulators) and Sun's 2MB limit on mbuf's
on the Sun4c architecture, this does occasionally (months apart) happen.
This would have caused anybody using an emulated SLIP or PPP connection to
lose their connection at that time.
I want to remind all of you using this machine, there is no longer a setup
fee for "real" SLIP and PPP, just e-mail support@eskimo.com with your request.
