Fiber cut in southern LA, 56k/ISDN busies
A fiber cut in the southern Los Angeles, CA area is causing "All circuits are busy" recordings for customers in the area codes listed below. I've called a couple lines there myself and have gotten through since I saw this outage announcement, but the fiber cut may only affect the local area. The latest announcement says that the local telco is still repairing the lines. ~ Eric Problem: All circuits are busy Location: 015 - Southern California Time: 18:47 11/18/1999 CST Status: ONGOING Situation: Certain numbers are being effected by a fiber cut (20 DS3's) with a Telco provider in southern Los Angeles. Estimated time of repair is a half hour from this message.
