Tia1, the host used to provide SLIP and PPP emulation, crashed twice
earlier today when I was trying to get a tape drive attached to this machine
working.
For reasons I do not understand, power cycling the drive caused the
machine to reboot. These drives get in a hung state from time to time
(Exabytes 8500C), but power cycling usually does not affect the host. I do not
know why it did today.
