Our trial of an SS-20 for a news platform was a dismal failure. The SS-20
suffered from the same spin_lock instabilities as the SS-10 running SparcLinux.
We also tried an Ultra-1 but couldn't even get to the SILO prompt, we get
the following error:
Fast Data Access MMU Miss
.. and then it returns to the PROM console prompt.
If anybody familiar with Linux on Sparc Ultra platforms can provide a clue
as to what this is trying to tell me and how we get past it short of a total
re-install, it would be much appreciated.
