We have a ticket open with Sprint to track down peering issues
between sprintlink and nap.net again. Slowness on 56k/ISDN is
caused by this peering problem, which is both latency and packet
loss.
The net through sprintlink is fine...
----sl-nap1-chi-0-0-0.sprintlink.net PING Statistics----
50 packets transmitted, 49 packets received, 2% packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 53/92/189
...until the next step at nap.net, which is the backbone used by
the 56k/ISDN services.
----206.220.243.39 PING Statistics----
50 packets transmitted, 35 packets received, 30% packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 2163/2455/2682
We don't have an ETA yet on when this will be resolved, but a
ticket is open and we are keeping up on the matter.
