Authentication is working again tonight on the midwest-region 56k lines;
but since this has been going on the last few nights at the same times,
under the same circumstances, we're keeping it marked unresolved until we
see it really fixed. (reverse order below; most-recent update first)

Time: 23:12 3/7/2000 CST
Status: UNRESOLVED
Situation: Global Center was able to bring routing back to all
troubled sites, however, they did not give us any
indication that they had resolved the problem, nor a
RFO that we can post. So this situation will remain
unresolved until further notice from provider.
Time: 20:27 3/7/2000 CST
Status: ONGOING
Situation: One of our data provider has informed us that they
have a core router down and are working to correct
the problem.
The areas affected includes the following: Phoenix,
Vegas, Kansas city, Denver, Colorado, Salt Lake
City, Tokyo. Users will not be able to route, or
authenticate at this time.
