Eskinews / UUNET
The inability to reach locations in UUNET cleared about an hour after
the first post I made regarding that problem.
Eskinews fsck's have finally completed successfully, the machine is up and
running but is presently doing a re-number which sync's the active file to the
articles actually on the news spool after an ungraceful shutdown/halt/crash.
This usually takes about half an hour to complete so news should be operational
again by approximately 5pm pacific daylight time (-0700 GMT).
