Ultra1 got stuck in a loop trying to free memory pages. Linux has some
defaults more geared towards workstations than large servers by default. I've
adjusted some kernel parameters that I hope will provide adequate resources to
avoid this particular problem again.
This basically caused an outages of all host services as virtually
everything is dependent upon this server, the shell server needs it for home
directories and mail spool, etc.
