All of our mail servers and an NFS file server all crashed around 3:30AM.
I don't know the cause as they were already rebooting when I was paged and got
up to take a look. I had to manually reboot mail, mx1, and mx2 again after
ultra1 came up because of NFS dependencies.
Also this morning, a mail server used for UUNET dialups at StarNet also
died causing problems for people using UUNET dial-ups sending e-mail.
Also data backhaul for the Atlanta GA POP died, and so there was no
authentication there for a while.
Everything is up except we are experiencing some relay issues with the
star.eskimo.com server. If you get a message when you try to send e-mail
saying "relaying denied", please include the access number you are calling and
if possible the IP address you were assigned during the connection.
