At 17:19 on 2001-03-16 the following was posted to Network Alerts:
Our ATM provider needs to replace a bad card causing the routing loss to
these sites. They committed four more hours for those cards to be
replaced. During this time your customers will experience routing loss. We
will continue to keep you updated during this time.
[A previous update showed the areas affected; while Seattle wasn't listed
here, we did see this effect here as well. I just authenticated on a
Seattle line now, so this may be closer to being fixed already. ~ Eric]
Update: This currently affects the following sites: Austin, Chattanooga,
Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Dallas, Lexington, Louisville,
Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, South Florida,
Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City.
UUNet dialups would not be affected by this.
