MegaPOP routing problems; 'global' (fwd)
Multiple areas affected here on the MegaPOP lines; UUnet dialups would not be affected. ~ Eric At 23:01 on 2001-03-23 the following was posted to Network Alerts: Problem : Loss of routing Location: 999 - Global, Status : Ongoing Event : Major problem with the Network Detailed Description: We are currently experiencing a global loss of routing to the following cities. Austin, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Dallas, Lexington, Louisville, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, South Florida, Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City. Users will have an inability or difficulty in routing or Authentication at this time. Unfortuneltly we have no ETR at this time, but we are working very closley with data provider engineers, and Starnet engineers to get this issue resolved.
