               I had to reboot Eskimo because the server just stopped talking reliably
          through the FDDI interface.  The machine was still up and responding fine
          locally, the rest of the network was still up, it just would not reliably talk
          to the rest of the network.
          
               I've seen it get into this state before and I do not know what causes it
          but a reboot clears it.
          
               Ken: The restart script for intrepid doesn't work unless you are already
