The '@usb.com' authentication server was down for a few minutes just now
(shortly before 7PM pacific to about 7:15 Pacific). I see it's
authenticating again, and folks are getting through to our servers (mail,
shell, etc.) again.
This had affected the MegaPOP/UUNet dialups with '@usb.com' and I believe
also the Qwest dialups (@usbisp.com) during that period.
One thing I can forsee (if this was in fact the reason) is that a reboot
may have been needed after checking configurations for dual-channel
connections -- I had a call into that again this afternoon and hadn't heard
back yet, but will keep on it, too...
