I had to reboot ultra1 to make it recognize a tape drive that is attached
but was powered off when it was last rebooted. I apologize for the brief
interruption.
I did find a note on Exabytes website about their tape drives hanging the
SCSI bus on Linux systems and the only fix they offered was the suggestion of
installing a seperate SCSI controller just for the tape drive.
