New York and Syracuse MegaPOP Numbers
The New York and Syracuse are down because of the train fire in boston
apparently burned up fiber running through the tunnel. Engineers are
attempting to run fiber around the disaster area and splice it in.
I still do not have a definitive word on what is causing the Qwest
authentication problems and it's sure not for lack of trying. I've been up all
night calling about every half hour but all I see to be able to reach now is
voice mail. The last actual human contact was around midnight when they asked
for a test account.
