Hello? Anyone home? (fwd)
One of Sprint's routers that terminates one of our T1 circuits is ill to
put it mildly. This was causing approximately 1/3rd of all transmitted packets
to get lost (all packets down that circuit).
That circuit is out of service now, however, the remaining two are not
sufficient to carry the load at this time of day and so some packet loss,
around 5%, and high latency is the result. Sprint is working on the hardware
problem tkt 4979236.
I've been trying to get a 4th T1 from Sprint because things have been
marginal at times with three now, but having problems with the beauracy there,
they keep changing my sales people mid-stream and at this point I've more or
less reached the conclusion I need something from another carrier.
